Since there is a moderate amount of doomsaying going on regarding the date December 21, 2012, on which the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar is set to have a big digit rollover, I am going to stick my neck out and make a firm, solid prediction about what will happen on this day.

The world will not end on December 21, 2012.
